  • Get your facts straight before you speak. NRA has a lobby to protect the 2nd amendment. Also, players could give a shit about anyone but themselves. The reason they came back is if they didn’t most people would stop watching. Hence they would lose their negotiating power not the owners. Plenty of people out there to play basket ball. These players aren’t Gods. No one cares what they say. If the players cared they would spend some of there own money to actually do something not just run their mouths they way they do. Also note how when they started this SJW BS they lost viewership and other sports such as UFC picked those viewers up.

  • Hiring or creating a Private Security Corporation would be interesting to see. A PSC would pretty much be made up of ex-police, so now you have the same issue as before since they are supporting police officers just not ones working regularly. The PSC would have to be licensed in all the states, and possibly cities, they play in which could cause some major issues. Plus the PSC will still end up working with the police more often then not to have police officers on site (paid for by the NBA or Player's Association) as extra security or to arrest people that get stupid. It would really just be another layer, an expensive one at that, to deal with.

  • your comments about er'one being at their wits. end in the bubble is just one more huge reason Mr. James Buckets and his Miami heat cohort will be the 2020 nba champions when this ish is said and done, however that come to pass..... cause er'one may be at their wits end as you espouse except for Jimmy butler, who is a self admitted bubble Zen master.... according to himself, he is, "so locked in right now and focused. on winning a championship, my family ain't even allowed to come near Orlando, let alone the bubble..... im just locked in man, the whole team. we. know what we. have to do...." I mean that along with butler's grit, determination and talent (as a sixers fan, I knew. the. minute. they let him walk last. summer it. would.go.down as maybe the worst decision ever for the organization, worse even than trading sir Charles for some scrubs.... anyway, i digress..... I've been saying since the bubble commenced, the heat are gonna win this heffer, watch.... and it's looking more and more likely with each game they manhandled the bucks the first. three games and shut giannis down almost completely.....

  • A real powerful and effective lobby should also look at black society and understand that part of the problem resides in themselves. That Lobby should not limit itself to call cops the bad guys and make society take the blame for everything. To create broken families and dooming kids to a life of poverty and ignorance that will end up in crime isn't exactly the fault of police. All you need to do most of the times is educate irresponsible women to close their legs and dudes to assume their responsibilities when they become fathers. Not once has Andrew mentioned the aspect that relies on black people in order for those reforms to happen. We all know that the system should always be checked and improved. This is no news. But citizens should also improve and evolve. A lobby pushing for more education and a wakening towards a new set of values is also necessary because you won't convince cops and a large part of society that shooting domestic abuser with sexual offense charges when he reaches for weapons in the car where is kids are in is something that out of the ordinary. Same with seeing a men dopped to his eyeballs driving around and overdosing at the wheel not being able to take a rougher lockdown position. Otherwise, the idea of a Black Lobby of powerful rich black men dedicating their time and money to improve issues is a brilliant idea. Sadly, unless exceptional people come forward, i don't see athletes being capable of doing anything else than virtue signaling. Furthermore, the black people that could actually navigate those rough seas are Republicans and are insulted by black community constantly. The left would never allow it as usual. They will rather see this project crash and burn and keep black community as reliable voters than see it succeed with people who are capable not only to see the problems in the system as in black communities.

  • Andrew it’s funny you think the cops care about the basket ball games or nfl. They hire cops cause they’re the cheapest legal method of security. Cops honestly hate stadium and arenas gigs because it’s a very drain experience with a lot of crazies and draws backs. Most police forces would actually cancel those contracts all together cause they may end up loosing money and man power. Questions what does the world need more of? cops or basketball players / nfl. Ever since the Kapernick thing happen you don’t have cops volunteering for those gigs anymore. You have to assign them...

Therefore, as long as you have the money they will fight for whichever side you support. So everyone who supports this movement of equality and social change like the masses, Hollywood elites, and athletes can definitely bring their funds together to balance the scale.
