How To Money Launder & Defend El Chapo w/ El Chapo's Lawyer | Andrew Schulz

What up people, I've been watching Ozark and I had to learn how money laundering works, so I sat down with one of El Chapo's lawyers Jason Goldman to break it all down. He also told me how he defends the alleged worse people in the world, and the one group of people he couldn't defend. His name is Jason Goldman and he's an attorney with the law offices of Jeffery Lichtman. INDULGE!
New York native and internationally touring stand-up, Andrew Schulz is known for his hilarious and unsafe comedy. He has starred in the sitcom BENDERS (now available on Netflix), can be seen in Amazon’s SNEAKY PETE, HBO’s CRASHING, and on MTV including GUY CODE and GIRL CODE.
In the podcast realm, Schulz can be heard on the wildly popular THE BRILLIANT IDIOTS - co-hosted by nationally syndicated radio and television personality Charlamagne tha God - the hilarious sports commentary podcast FLAGRANT 2, and the film and TV analysis podcast WESTERBROS. He has made major appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Bert Kreischer’s BERTCAST, Joey “coco” Diaz The Chuch of What’s Happening Now, and Theo Von’s This Past Weekend. He has even done solo interviews with the likes of Lil Duval and many others.
Andrew’s online presence has touched hundreds of millions of people across the globe and his unconventionally funny approach to the comedy world has launched him into stardome. His shows Dropping In and Inside Jokes will rack of hundreds of thousands of views weekly. Nothing is off limits for Schulz, from sex to race, and even the occasional audience heckler roast, Andrew is hungry to be the best. He can be seen in New York City performing regularly at New York Comedy Club and the Comedy Cellar.

  • For "El Chapo's lawyer" this dude doesn't seem to know shit... "Uhhhh... Yeah I mean, yeah sure.." Andrew already knew more about it than the "lawyer" he just wanted to tighten up/cook his books a lil better 😂

I thought it was something like 20 Grand even if it's made in two cash payments. The dealership has paper they have to submit themselves whenever this happens.

  • I was like man, the attorney isn’t explaining it well like the automatic 10k red flag, etc. But, Shultz clearly has done his research and asked the right questions that he knew the answer to do the attorney would clarify. He also knew that it IS in fact ILLEGAL in some places to sell lemonade without a permit. I lived in a neighborhood that had city mandates making it illegal to solicit anything without a city issued permit. To be fair to the attorney, he doesn’t need to know about the exact procedures of how they catch bad guys...just the evidence, etc and the laws surrounding that. Unless he’s teaching people how to launder money in detail but he could already do that with just the knowledge from cases he’s had or cases he’s read...

  • The criminal justice system needs a major overhaul. Our laws allow adulterated drugs to be sold increasing the risk to the user and supporting violence organized crime and terrorism rather than tax revenue. Our judges are corrupt and give harsh sentences for non-violent crimes. Our cops violate civil rights beat and kill non-convicted citizens. Our prisons are run for profit and there is no incentive to prevent crime rather instead to invent it for the sake of an ever-increasing revenue black hole that could easily be spent in other ways for the betterment of society.

  • The casino bit: The IRS gets alerted when you make any incoming or outcome of any transaction larger than 10,000 in a 24 hour "casino day". We kept tabs on everyone that hit a certain artificial threshold. Most casino threshold of keeping tabs on patrons were a bit different but they all had systems put in place to track individuals(cashing out/in $2-$3K+). So 10,001 would trigger the events that the IRS get alerted. Source: Myself (in the industry for about 10 years working almost every position dealing with $$)
